![]() Birmingham Parent Carer Forum (BPCF) is a group of Parent Carers who want to make a difference for children/young people and families. If you live in Birmingham and have a child/young person aged up to 25 with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), we would love you to join us as a voluntary Parent Carer Representative. Why should I get involved? To achieve our aims we need to hear parents’ views and experiences and are looking to grow our membership. To that end we need Parent Carer Representatives to join our team and help us expand our reach across Birmingham. You will play a vital part in the strategic direction of the services provided for SEND children, young people and their families in Birmingham. You will be helping to make a difference! How much time do I need to commit? We understand that you have busy family lives so the role is very flexible but it does require a level of commitment. We want you to shape the role to suit however much or little time you can dedicate. What is the role of a Parent Carer Representative?
